You were always there for me. It is going to be very hard without you. I knew that you were likely to go first, but that doesn't make it any easier. If only you had not fallen so badly on that occasion, if only you had received better care and not been infected with COVID when in hospital- I feel so angry over that! We know that you had always said you wouldn't see the post-COVID world; sadly that has turned out to be true. Perhaps you were ready to go anyway, but to have had that news and without us having been able to have had contact for ten days is what is so ddistressing
